Traditional Chen Style Tai Chi is the original Tai Chi style and is closer to its martial origin than other Tai Chi styles. Unlike the traditional Yang style form with which most people are familiar, Chen style combines hard and soft with fast and slow movement, based on the theory of complementary opposites - the Yin and Yang. Tai-chi specializes in the neutralization of an attack by the turning of the waist. Benefits of Tai Chi include: stillness of mind and relaxation, improved circulation, improved balance and coordination, increased energy, flexibility, and strength.
