Position Summary:

Reports to Senior Manager, Facilities Operations. Responsible for managing all maintenance activities, shipping, receiving and mail services within the Facilities Planning & Engineering group. This position will provide oversight to ensure that high quality operations and maintenance service is provided to assure proper performance of engineered equipment and building systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Develop and maintain planned preventive maintenance program & schedules.
. Monitor routine maintenance and repair work orders to ensure service level agreements are met.
. Maintain proper records retention to comply with all regulatory requirements (CM, PPM, Logs etc.).
. Prepares ad hoc status reports as necessary regarding atypical occurrences, unusual staffing challenges and potential building related interruptions.
. Prepare monthly financial, work history, shipping and staffing reports.
. Manage Building Management Systems infrastructure, maintenance & reporting.
. Author/maintain SOP's specific to Facilities Operations.
. Submit purchase requisitions for Purchase Orders (POs), obtain required approvals, expedite approvals as necessary, maintain/monitor POs for invoices and spending, and assist with PO/invoice resolution.
. Other general tasks and operational projects as needed

Qualifications:

Candidate must be a clear thinker who can anticipate and address potential questions from the various departments and functional areas. Candidate should also be flexible, self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision to achieve objectives in a timely manner, possess strong interpersonal, team-building, and organizational skills.

Candidate should have working knowledge of Facility Information Management Systems (Archibus preferred).

Candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or biotech industry with specific experience in Building Management and Mechanical Systems.
