Achieve sales objectives in his/her territory by identifying business challenges and opportunities
Provide customer with accurate, current, and pertinent product information to ensure that the products of Daiichi Sankyo and it’s co-promotional partners are prescribed correctly for the benefit of appropriate patients
Sample Accountability (where appropriate): Compliance of the PDMA regulations and Daiichi Sankyo Sampling Program and its policies and procedures is required at all times. All product samples must be stored in a locked, temperature controlled (72F) area, free of infestation. Training, testing and certification of the PDMA regulations, upon employment and annually thereafter, is mandatory. An Acknowledgment of Compliance must also be signed. Weekly Sample Reconciliation Reports must be submitted to the Sales Division, verifying all samples received by the employee and all samples dispensed to physicians.
Develop a business plan for his/her territory and execute the plan based on priorities to obtain maximum potential
Achieve or exceed other goals agreed upon with manager to ensure good territory management and professional development
Complete necessary and required administrative duties accurately and on time
Use company resources in a prudent and objective fashion to accomplish goals
Currently possess or acquire knowledge of Daiichi Sankyo products and related marketplace to further penetrate these related markets
Education and Experience Guidelines
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution required; advanced degree desirable
A total of 3 years or more of successful pharmaceutical sales experience is required. This experience must include one year or more of hospital experience. Cardiovascular experience a plus.
Outstanding verbal communication skills a must. Strong product knowledge required. Ability to self-motivate. Attention to detail. Must possess an executive presence
