Scan Optics is seeking Sales Executives in the Northeast/New England area, Midwest and West to support expansion.

Responsibilities

- Creates and executes territory sales plan.
- Builds the highest possible level of customer relationships and related contacts
- 'Cold calls', develops relationships and closes sales with new customers
- Manages and leads key account development
- Develops and executes sales campaigns in the targeted geographic area
- Leads and manages the total sales cycle
- Develops, writes, and presents sales, business, and bid ('RFP') Proposals to prospective customers as well as related Statements of Work ('SOW')
- Develops the related business case for the business/RFP proposals
- Maintains an active and accurate database of all customer contacts from initial contact through close of sales cycles

Position Requirements

- 7+ years 'technology solutions sales' experience in document imaging hardware sales, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), or related IT professional services, focused on solution selling.
- 3-5 + Years working with or in Value Added Resellers (VAR) /Systems Integrators.
- Strong knowledge and experience with document imaging conversion/capture (scanning) and image processing software ; alternatively, of output (print) hardware and related software solutions sales
- Very solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of ACT and/or Salesforce.com or other CRM applications
